Muddy Attitude

ree

Excited about his upcoming final interview at a Fortune 500 company, Prasad cruised on his bike, wearing a crisp white shirt and a maroon tie.

On the way, a white sedan overtook him and splashed him with muddy rainwater, leaving his white shirt a rusty brown colour. Furious, he chased the car and stopped it.

He lashed out at the pretty lady driver with seething words. All her apologies did not bring down his volume or heart rate.

Soon, he reached the company and stepped into the interview room. His anger turned to shock and disbelief when he saw the same pretty lady waiting to interview him.

As Prasad stood speechless, the lady remarked in a stern voice, “Mr. Prasad, we were impressed by your resume. Unfortunately, our organisation values attitude more than skills; therefore, we will not be employing you. “

A few days later, he received a call from the same lady.

Points to ponder

●       What do you think the lady said when she called Prasad a few days later?

●       In similar situations, would you give this person a second chance?

●       What lessons and values did the story?
